Hi Tahir,
Thanks for your report. We’d like to help, but keep in mind this
channel is for reporting violations of your legal rights, such as
copyright or trademark rights.
If instead you want to report something that you think doesn’t follow
the Facebook Community Standards (ex: nudity, hate speech, fake
accounts), please visit our Help Center to learn how you can report
this to Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/help/263149623790594
If you’re contacting us to report a violation of your legal rights,
we’d be happy to follow up but will need the following additional
information to process your report:
- Your complete contact information, including your name, mailing
address and phone number. (Note that we regularly provide your contact
information, including your name and email address, the name of your
organization or client who owns the right in question, and/or the
contents of your report to the person who posted the content you are
reporting. You may wish to provide a professional or business email
address for contact by users.)
- If you’re acting on behalf of an entity or another person that is
the holder of the legal rights, please identify that entity or person
and describe your relationship to them (ex: lawyer, agent).
- An explanation as to what legal rights you believe are being
infringed or violated (ex: trademark, copyright).
- Your basis for claiming those legal rights (ex: trademark
registration, a description of your copyrighted work).
- A link (URL) to each photo, post or other item you’re reporting,
which can be found by clicking either directly on the content or on
the time and date that appears in gray with the content (ex: "8 hours
ago"). If a link isn't available, please provide a detailed
description of where the content appears on Facebook, including the
name of the person who posted it and the time they posted it.
- An explanation of how you believe each of the pieces of content
you've identified violates the specific legal right(s) named above.
- A statement that you declare under penalty of perjury that all of
the information contained in your notice is accurate and that the
claimed use of your intellectual property described above, in the
manner you have complained of, is not authorized by the rights owner,
its agent, or the law, and that you are the rights owner or authorized
to act on behalf of the rights owner.
We take intellectual property rights seriously and will look into this
matter further upon receiving the requested information.
Thanks,
Wyatt
